CARING FOR THE IMPRISONED
Moreau College Initiative
Support is offered to students of the Moreau College Initiative(MCI). MCI is a partnership between Holy Cross College and Westville Correctional Facility in Northern Indiana. The goal is to help interrupt cycles of violence and incarceration by helping to facilitate students earn their undergraduate degrees. This highly successful program is at the heart and core of Youth Mercy Works.
PROVIDE FOR THE THIRSTY
Sister Water Project
The Sister Water Projects builds clean water wells throughout Africa and Honduras. These wells can be the lifeblood of a village. Youth Mercy Works has entered a strategic partnership to assist financially and in person the building of multiple wells throughout Tanzania.
CARE FOR THOSE IN NEED
St. Lucy School for Children with Visual Impairments
We provide in person and financial support to St. Lucy School in Philadelphia. St. Lucy’s was founded in 1955 in response to a Rubella outbreak that left many children with visual impairments. Youth Mercy Works seeks to facilitate the integration of these children into a day school program through multiple avenues.
HELPING THE HOMELESS
Mother of Mercy House
Youth Mercy Works provides assistance to the Mother of Mercy House. We are dedicated to helping ease the burden of the addicted and homeless in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.
